Notifications, emails and recommendation settings

Notifications (bell icon)

1. The bell icon at the top right shows the number of unread notifications.
2. To see them all, open Notifications in the left menu.
3. Pressing a notification takes you to the related page — in the right portal if needed (for example a buyer task in the buyer portal).
4. In the seller and provider portals, use Mark all as read to mark everything as read at once.

News about RFQs, quotations, orders, verification results, disputes and messages comes here. News about RFQs/quotations/verification goes to the owner and to members with the matching permission.

Which emails you get

• Account and transaction emails — sign-in codes, new sign-in notices, quotations, orders, verification results and so on. These cannot be turned off, because you need them for your work.
• Weekly product email — optional; it does not come unless you turn it on yourself.

Turning recommendations and the weekly email on/off

1. Open Settings and go to the Recommendations & emails section.
2. Personalized recommendations — when on, related products are suggested from what you search for, view and save. When off, nothing new is recorded and your old history is not used.
3. Weekly product email — when on, at most once a week (Monday 8 am, Dhaka time) you get an email of products that match your recent searches. It is paused while personal recommendations are off.
4. To delete all history, press Clear my browsing history → Yes, clear it.
